apparently we were supposed to get alot of snow. it's still snowy out, but i was expecting more snow that this! My roomate's company she works for permitted the employees to "wear jeans" to work for the week due to the weather. hahaha. No No No corporate america doesn't have snow days, they have jeans days. muhahaha

im still unemployed and between applying for jobs, showering, and eating, I am painting and making a mess. I haven't made it to an art store yet, but I need a damn canvas. Im gunna draw with some charcoal tomorrow and make myself a sick birthday present. tiiiight!

In the small amount of time my roomates are home and awake, we connect with our family in DC

First weekend in Chicago done

If you may or may not know I was fired from HM for a little thing called "sleeping in too much." So I decided to pack my stuff and move to Chicago. My best chick Rachel has an extra room in her apartment so i moved in. It's tight, although not as tiny as the cave, it's a sick room.

Rachel got me "i will teach you how to cook" coupons for christmas and i went ahead and used one today. It looked like this:

along with making: spaghetti sauce, twice baked potatoes, biscuits and gravy. and while she did that I did this:

since i cashed in one of my cooking lessons and didn't utilize it and just ate lucky charms and drank wine, i decided my contribution would be to do dishes on a step stool. it worked. the dishes got done and i got to experience life of short people.

living through my first chicago snow, my first late night hang out with jimmy and the dudes, and my first weekend on a shitty air mattress, I think im going to dig this place.
